Iga Swiatek is a highly popular regular at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix and a real crowd favourite. She made tournament history when winning the 2022 and 2023 editions. The world No. 2 will be coming to the Porsche Arena as the reigning Wimbledon champion.
“I can hardly wait to get back to Stuttgart for the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix,” says the 24-year-old Pole. “Playing the tournament is a nice tradition I have. I’m looking forward to the fantastic atmosphere in the Porsche Arena and the top-class tennis. As always, I’ll be giving my best to go as deep as possible.”

Iga Swiatek’s list of achievements include Grand Slam titles at Wimbledon (2025), the French Open (2020, 2022, 2023, 2024) and the US Open (2022). Another is the winning of the 2023 WTA Finals. She has been world ranked No. 1 for a total of 125 weeks. The Pole also set a special record when winning 37 consecutive matches between 21 February 2022 (Doha) and 27 Juni 2022 (Wimbledon). It is to date the longest WTA winning streak in the 21st century. Iga Swiatek has 25 career WTA titles to her name. Her latest success came in the preparations for the Australian Open when, playing for Poland, she won the United Cup, the star-studded team mixed competition held in Sydney and Perth.

In addition to Iga Swiatek, the world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, recently named WTA Tour Player of the Year, will also be competing in the Porsche Arena. Another player to have entered is the Porsche Friend Eva Lys, currently Germany’s top player. Anke Huber, the Operating Tournament Director of the time-honoured WTA 500 event, is in the midst of promising talks with further top stars and is “very confident that other prominent players will have entered by after the Australian Open at the latest.”
