Porsche in Zuffenhausen – heart and home

The heart of Porsche continues to beat in Zuffenhausen. This is where it all began. This is where the series production of the first Porsche production model started. And this is where even today our Sports Cars and all Porsche engines are built. What makes this special: our standard-production vehicles are produced on the same production line as the racing versions, making us unique in the entire automotive industry. Other departments located here in addition to Production include Quality Management and Logistics. The management team is also based here, making this location the core of the company. And it continues to develop, grow and be transformed.

Porsche in Weissach – creative and innovative

The Porsche Development Centre ("EZW" for its German initials) has been situated in Weissach since 1971. Around 6,500 employees work there. The result: 7,000 patents worldwide. Every year, more than 400 new patents are filed. Design offices, test benches, workshops and also our motorsports department sit in close proximity to one another. Short distances on the site facilitate the direct and uncomplicated exchange between the individual development departments. A closely linked and coordinated development process, from the first draft up till the finished production vehicle. The Hemmingen site also belongs to the EZW. That's where the company started the development of "sporty all-purpose vehicles" in 1998 – and hence put down the cornerstone for the most successful model series of Porsche today: the Cayenne. This is still where the colleagues of the SUV model range as well as those from the respective areas of Development, Production, Procurement, Product Controlling, Company Quality and Sales are housed.

Porsche in Leipzig – state of the art and aspiring

This is where the Cayenne has been built since December 2002. In August 2003, production commenced for the Porsche Carrera GT, which was limited to 1,270 units. Porsche in Ludwigsburg – historical and international

Decades before the creation of an Integrated Automotive Group, Porsche and Volkswagen had already written a shared chapter in company history at this site. The Sales department of all other Porsche models was established at Ludwigsburg. The site has kept its international focus up to this very day. Even after the relocation of most of the Sales and Marketing experts to Zuffenhausen, a part of the After Sales Division is still operating from Ludwigsburg. The Porsche Digital GmbH is also established in Ludwigsburg. The objective of the enterprise is to further develop Porsche into the leading provider of digital mobility solutions in the premium automotive segment. The Digital GmbH considers itself to be an interface between Porsche and innovators around the world. This applies in particular to the areas of connectivity, smart mobility and autonomous vehicles.
