Injury forces the local hero to withdraw: the Krejcikova/Siegemund pairing pulls out of semifinals

The No. 2 seeded pairing of Barbora Krejcikova (CZE)/Laura Siegemund (GER) is unable to contest their doubles semifinal at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix on Saturday.

A lower back injury has forced the local hero from Porsche Team Germany to withdraw.

It means Ulrikke Eikeri (NOR) and Ingrid Neel (EST) are already assured of a place the final on Sunday which will be played after the singles.
