A specialist in twin-jet aircraft, Embraer leads the market for planes with 80 to 130 seats. Its customers include many of the major airlines. “The world is changing fast, and we have to become faster and faster in bringing technology and bringing new processes to everything we do, so we want to become more efficient in all these areas,” says Mauro Kern, Chief Operating Officer of Embraer. So he invited Porsche Consulting’s aviation experts to the company’s headquarters. “We are working with the consultants in many different areas – not only in sales and production but also in logistics, the supply chain, and product development. That has generated a series of strategic projects along the value chain. This is how we’re looking to lead our company into the future,” says Kern in a video report from Porsche Consulting.
